Welcome back Beauties, thanks for stopping by my little corner of the internet. I have been wanting to write this post for so long but I never seem to be able to find the right words to do it. This week I decided to bite the bullet, put fingers to key boards and write the dam post!!
Let me paint the picture for you, I’m a girl that loves a cami top, adores a bralette and lives for a thin tee. Combine those things together and on a slightly less than warm day your girl may look like shes smuggling some raisins underneath that Zara Top.
Question…why is it acceptable for a man to have visible nipples through a shirt, but the idea that woman has a pair sends the world in a tizz? Its a question that has had my fiancee and I scratching our noggins for years.
The Free the Nipple campaign has been rocking its self since 2012, and let me tell you this legal gal is firmly on board. Nipples come in all shapes and sizes and we shouldn’t be ashamed or punished for having them. Why do programs, like Botched, feel the need to blurr out a nipple but are happy to show a whole breast? We all have them, seriously check down your top…see there they are loud and proud.
Why are we scared of them? If all have them then whats the big issue? Can someone explain the big difference between a mans nipple and woman’s? Did I miss the memo that explained why we should act like ours don’t exist?
So this Summer I’ve decided I’ll be rocking the clothes I want and not caring if they happen to say hello. I’ll be channeling my inner Stacey Dooley and rocking around in sunshine (probably drizzle IRL) and focusing on the bigger things instead of worrying whether or not my peanuts are poking through.
So lets not be scared of them, lets spend less time worrying whether or not you can catch a glimpse of them, and just enjoy rocking your body. We all have them and its time we just embraced our friends the nipple and got on with life.

YAS, girl!! Thank you for writing this post, I couldn’t agree more! I mean there are times where I totally prefer wearing a bra but I don’t get how it’s almost a rule that a woman has to wear one and if she doesn’t she has to be some kind of a hippie.. xxx

Thank you for your lovely words. I couldn’t agree more, what is the difference between a mans and a women’s? It does feel like if you have to be all or nothing. Sometimes I want to rock a bralette other times I want to be covered up. We 100% should have the choice and not feel like we are forced into a one box or another xx

I’m on the heavier busted side so I feel much more comfortable in a bra when I’m out but if you’re comfortable not wearing a bra at all who is it hurting, right? Great post!

Thanks for the support girl. I’m with you, if you want to wear a bra and it’s comfy that’s awesome. If you don’t want to then that’s awesome to, we should be free to be comfortable
